Membership Development Organizers
New Jersey Citizen Action places strong direction on grassroots political action, operating a successful Field Membership Development Team. Every day our Membership Team is building influence for the social change movement by organizing communities through fundraising and educating members of the organization by having them take political action.
- Interaction with communities around utilities, quality affordable health care, prescription drugs, including social, racial, and environmental justice issues
- Working with other membership organizers to build a base of 10,000 – 15,000 members a year through fundraising and letter writing campaigns while maintaining data integrity.
- Registering voters and informing the public on candidates and the issues they stand for.
Schedule, Pay and Benefits
FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT
2pm – 10pm Monday through Friday- Paid Training
- Starting Salary $9.00 to $11.00 an hour
- Bonuses and Commission
- Full Time Employment includes benefits package of Health and Dental Care, paid holidays and sick days, and two weeks paid vacation
- Advancement based on skills and ability
- NOTE: Part Time also available, same hours, minimum 3 days a week
- Paid / Unpaid College Internships Available
