Voter Registration Campaign Coordinator

New Jersey Citizen Action is seeking a temporary, full-time Voter Registration Campaign Coordinator to lead an aggressive statewide nonpartisan voter registration program.

NJCA is the state's largest citizen watchdog coalition representing 60,000 family members and over 100 labor, tenant, senior, environmental, fair housing, civil rights, women's, neighborhood and faith-based organizations. Our mission is to protect and expand the rights of individuals and families, and to ensure that government officials respond to the needs of people rather than the interests of those with money and power.

The Voter Registration Campaign Coordinator reports directly to NJCA's Legislative/Political Director and is responsible for implementing and overseeing a voter registration program that seeks to register 12,000 NJ voters between now and October 6, 2008. In addition, the Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and supervising a crew of voter registration canvassers. The Coordinator is responsible for all reporting, record keeping, reporting and the day-to-day management of the voter registration campaign. To Top
