NJCA's Leadership and History

Leadership

Leadership NJCA's leadership comes from our affiliated organizations and our members. Our affiliates and members democratically elect a broad range of representatives to guide our work.

The Board of Directors is responsible for establishing the policies and programs of the organization. The Board of Trustees advises the Board of Directors and the Executive Director on these goals. These two groups come together to build a bridge of common interests that make our work for citizen power possible.

Members of both boards help direct and actively participate in the issue campaigns that NJCA conducts. Along with our affiliated groups, individual members and allies, these leaders help win victories for NJ's working families.

NJ Citizen Action is a founding member of US Action, a national progressive coalition of state, regional, and national organizations.

Let us know if your organization would like to become an NJCA affiliate.
