See Paul Krugman, Fight Corporate Power, And Make New Jersey A Better Place To Live

My last blog about the foreclosure crisis mentioned Paul Krugman, the brilliant economist and New York Times columnist. You can get a chance to hear him this Friday, November 30th, at the Rutgers Livingston Student Center, Piscataway NJ. Krugman is speaking there at New Jersey Citizen Action's 2007 Biennial Convention. The convention begins at noon and continues to 5:30 pm.

I can recommend this group, partly because in the early 1980s, I was one of the founding members of Citizen Action and I know what good work it does. It's the group known for challenging government and corporate power, increasing the quality of life and decreasing the cost of living for New Jersey residents. There will be various workshops including one on the Home Foreclosure Crisis: What it Means for Our Communities and Solutions for Change.
