WESTFIELD — New Jersey Citizen Action today will begin its campaign, "Invest in America's Future," with an event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Westfield Post Office, located at 153 Central Ave.

Members of the self-described citizen watchdog coalition and local advocates will talk with people about what they call President Bush's misplaced priorities of tax breaks for the rich, and massive Iraq war spending.

"As our country enters an economic downturn, tens of thou sands of workers are finding themselves unemployed and millions of families will face foreclo sure of their homes," said Phyllis Salowe-Kaye, executive director for NJ Citizen Action.

The group will also hold a similar event in Mount Holly in Burlington County.
