Paid Leave Backers Find New Use For Onesies

Newsday — Monday, December 10, 2007

Baby clothing is hanging outside the Statehouse in Trenton.

It's there to urge lawmakers to make New Jersey the third state offering paid time off from work to care for a sick relative and new child.

The onesies bear messages backing the bill that would give workers up to 10 weeks paid leave.

They were decorated and posted by the group MomsRising.

The bill is stalled amid opposition from businesses.
