Bilingual Community Educator

New Jersey Citizen Action seeks an individual who is passionate about community outreach and engagement to fill our full-time Bilingual Community Educator position. Their primary duties will consist of educating communities and community partners on fair housing, housing discrimination, and other issues and services involving low- and moderate-income communities and communities of color. 


Internship Program

NJCA partners with universities throughout the state to provide students with real-world nonprofit and outreach experience in exchange for college credits.


Fair Housing Testers

New Jersey Citizen Action, a HUD designated Fair Housing Agency, is hiring paid per diem Fair Housing Testers to help make sure people are not being denied housing because of their race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability or familial status. We are hiring a diverse group of testers to investigate housing discrimination within New Jersey.


Grants Manager

NJCA is looking to hire a Grants Manager, reporting to the CFO, who will provide fiscal support on state, federal and private grants. Works with and supports the Executive Director, Program Managers and staff in developing, implementing and providing ongoing financial oversight to grants management operations, ensuring the appropriate use and accurate reporting of all financial transactions on grants.

Tax Preparers

New Jersey Citizen Action is now accepting resumes for temporary Tax Preparers to work
in person at our Newark location. Flexible hours are available Mondays to Saturdays.
Training classes will be provided upon certification.
