New Jersey Citizen Action Education Fund provides free ACA education, outreach, and assistance services to New Jersey residents to help them understand and apply for affordable health care coverage options through New Jersey’s health insurance marketplace, GetCoveredNJ, as well as NJFamilyCare. Children under 19 years old, regardless of immigration status, may enroll in NJ FamilyCare.
- Incomes up to 355% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) ($8,210/month for a family of four)
- Does not count against a Public Charge

Medicaid Rules Have Changes
Beginning April 1, 2023
- NJ FamilyCare will resume eligibility re-determinations
- Have you moved?
- Call Medicaid at 1-800-701-0710 to update your address and contact information
- Make sure NJ FamilyCare can reach you
- Respond to mail from NJ FamilyCare/Medicaid
- Look for and respond to mail from the State of New Jersey or your local County Board of Social Services
