Free Health Care Enrollment Assistance
New Jersey Citizen Action Education Funds provides free ACA education, outreach, and assistance services to New Jersey residents to help them understand and apply for affordable health care coverage options through New Jersey’s health insurance marketplace, GetCoveredNJ, as well as NJFamilyCare.
Free Tax Prep
We offer free tax preparation both federal and all states, ITIN applications and renewals for all clients in and outside of New Jersey. All ITIN’s must be in person. Our team members are IRS certified preparers and will assist you with all your income tax needs with high-level professionalism.
First-Time Homebuyer, Rental & Foreclosure Counseling
Our HUD-Certified Housing Counseling Service provides free one-on-one counseling in English and Spanish to first-time homebuyers seeking to purchase a home in New Jersey along with providing foreclosure prevention counseling and rental counseling. We provide a wide range of Fair Housing services and programs in both English and Spanish to support individuals against fair housing discrimination across New Jersey. Small Landlord Education Program
New Jersey Citizen Action Education Fund and partners offer a FREE Small Landlord Education Program to educate and empower members of the community who own a residential multi-family property or are planning to purchase a residential multi-family property. The Small Landlord Education Program promotes small and multifamily homeownership opportunities to help families and communities in Northern New Jersey to build generational wealth. Home ownership is one of the most viable ways for families and communities to gain a foothold in the middle class.
