In the past few weeks, the Trump administration has completely disrupted communities throughout our country and the federal government largely through executive orders. Now, Trump and his Republican allies are considering budget reconciliation plans that could result in $2.3 trillion in cuts over a decade to Medicaid. This program provides health insurance for some 80 million Americans and nearly 2 million New Jerseyans, including seniors in nursing homes, low-income parents and their children, pregnant women, and people with disabilities.
