On Saturday, March 28, more than 50 cities and towns throughout New Jersey, from Cape May Court House up to Newton in Sussex County, and including Newark, Jersey City, and Camden, will join more than 3,000 locations around the country holding rallies and community events as part of the third No Kings! protests against the Trump administration.
What began June 14 as a massive rejection of Trump’s attempt to crown himself on his birthday and then grew into the largest demonstration in American history on October 18, when over 7 million people took to the streets, is expected to be even larger given Trump’s lawlessness since, including spending billions of dollars on an illegal war. Led by Indivisible, MoveOn, and 50501, dozens of organizations and unions are partnering in support, including CWA, AFSCME, National Nurses United, and the American Association of University Professors, the Working Families Party, Food and Water Watch, Amnesty International, Physicians for a National Health Program, the ACLU, and the American Friends Service Committee.
