PDAC could reign in runaway drug prices in New Jersey...what exactly is PDAC?

Prescription drug costs have become unsustainable for countless New Jersey residents. In fact, 1 in 4 Garden State residents report skipping doses or going without prescriptions altogether because of the cost. That includes everything from antibiotics to medications needed to manage chronic conditions.  

Good health shouldn’t be limited to those who can afford it. To address the problem, the state created The New Jersey Prescription Drug Affordability Council (PDAC), an independent group of policy and industry experts tasked with driving meaningful reform of prescription drug costs across the state. The next steps in addressing prescription drug affordability will require stronger engagement, support, and action by our state policymakers, residents, and PDAC.
